Child sponsorship is made possible through New Missions, a nondenominational Christian organization founded by George DeTellis, Sr. and his wife, Jeanne.

Working on the Leogane Plain since 1983, New Missions currently has 10 preschools, 10 elementary schools, a high school, and a college, with a total enrollment of over 5000 students.

New Missions also has 10 churches, and a medical clinic that cares for nearly 1000 Haitians each month.
